I suppose today would generally be classified as May First, Labour Day, but for me and fellow corregionals today is the start of a 4-day-long frenzy of celebrations in honour of the local patron Saint. It's basically a 4-day-long procession along the road stretching fom the main city to the little village where the Saint was supposedly martyrised, with frequent stops in different towns (including mine, of course).Every town in the land the takes part in the procession wearing traditional costumes and accompanied by musicians,artists and the lot :P.
While I'm pretty much indifferent to the religious connotation of the celebration itself,I've always liked the wonderful display of colours, arts and crafts showed during the procession by the people involved. When I was a child I'd dress up in the local costume and take part in the procession for as much as my legs would allow me, together with some of my relatives: sometimes I was even as lucky as to be able to climb on to the festive carriages and see everything from such a priviledged place.
Nowadays you can't rent costumes anymore and the only way you can dress up is either buy the costume yourself (they're obviously hideously expensive XD) or somehow find a rentable costume from another town nearby .
If you were wondering why I'm home insted of being part of it, oh, that's just becaue I'm too lazy to walk for hours under the sun, surrounded by a scary amount of people:I'm watching it on TV, it's much easier and they also interview random tourists (Hey, there's even Japanese people, what's happening °°) asking them any kind of idiotic questions.

Enough with it.

This anime season is surprisingly nice...There's not (yet) anything that really stands out to me in terms of overwhelming quality in any respect , but there's plenty of choice for anyone.
My favourite series this season is shaping up to be Kurenai. Those of you who know how much I loved Red Garden won't be surprised, given it's the same director using the same , wonderful, style and prescoring tecnique. The plot is also very nice, but ,as usual, what I like the most are the characters. What fnd amazing is that my favourite character in th series is the little girl, Murasaki. If only all children were like that XD.
Also watching...Code Geass ~~Destiny~~ because it's always entertaining and it makes me laugh, Himitsu for the great cast and story, Vampire Knight for cast and childish fangirl insanity , Itazurana Kiss because it's lovely, and Toshokan Sensou because of ~~Ishida~~ the compelling plot.
I'm still eagerly watching Persona for the strong WTF factor and because I suspect it might even become a nice surprise (or a great trainwreck as well :D ).

OH!! Lest I forget , Soul Eater is wonderful **. I cheer with joy with each passing episode. I could care less about the plot (?), but oh, the style *___________*. Thank you Bones. -and also, TaMarro Revolution how I missed you XD.

It occurred to me that I probably should let people know I live, and quite well, actually.At least for the time being-grabs onto little charm-

I've been studying, and I'm so glad the awful Chinese exam is now well and beyond me,complete with an undeserved mark which no-one'll ever notice nor ask detailed informations about, and now I'm only 2 exams short of a ~~useless~~ degree. After that, it's the pitches :D.No, I don't know, which is why I'm procrastinating and trying to prolungate my student-status limbo as much as possible; after all, I'll have to leave this place when I'm done, whether it's for studying or working , unless I want to try and be a slave here :P.

Aaaaanyway, our Terra e... fansub was finally born on February 15th, and it's going strong for the moment.It makes me feel strange to realise I'm treating the outcome of the combined efforts of a group of people like a child or something akin:is this what synergy means for real?:D I know it's silly: it's not by any means a paid job, or even something people will remember, or treasure, but it's been until now a precious experience, a sort of against-all-odds adventure :D.Episode 5 is in its advanced stage, and I need to check further episodes to make sure everything is perfect, or seemingly so .

I'm not exactly watching TONS of anime , mostly because I already have a hefty backlog of series to watch, but I'm enjoying Persona the most, at the moment.Wolf and Spice is also lovely, and of couse I'm still watching Neuro and Gundam 00.Little Nendoroid Neuro *will* be mine *_____*.L needs a companion, I suppose Light is not the only scare possibility he has?
Oh...I am beginning to strongly hate seiyuu fans. They are people, real people, and they do not choose their roles, they are mostly GIVEN them to play like the good employers they are.

Anyway, back to reading :P (Neuro manga in Italian is *good* ..never thought I could say this :D)

I'm surprised no-one has yet written anything about the wonderful Saiga Mitsuki-san.I guess female seiyuu are not as well-liked and/or known among us?:P
While not my most favourite seiyuu, she's among my very dearest ones, those I'd listen to in pretty much every situation :D.

1.) Where did you first noticed this person (AKA: Which show/CD/Com/etc and as who)? I think it was either Natsuo from Loveless, or Wolfram, from Kyou kara Maou.
2.) A fan of this person for how long? Couple of years, since 2005 I think.
3.) Why do you like him/her? Because she has a very distinctive, masculine but refined voice you can immediately spot, and she puts her soul into each of her characters
4.) Roles that person tends to learn towards (ie: Typecast/Who he or she becomes at best) Usually spunky, bratty, smart blond boys XD.
5.) Favorite character of this person? It's a tie between Jomy Marquis Shin (Terra e...) and Rossiu (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann). They're both characters that start off as boys and then have to grow up rather fast due to circumstances,encountering many hardships on their way, often losing track of their dreams and sacrificing their personality for some "greater good" of sorts.I think she pulls off thse character magnificently^^.
6.) Which role of this person shocked you the most? I'm using "shocked" in a positive way:Benio Amakusa from Ouran Koukou Host Club .Totally over-the-top but great nonetheless XD.

The sun was shining today, and the sky was brilliantly blue. Outside, people were running about in short sleeves, at the beginning of December.
I could hear rather un-seasonal sound, like birds chirping, and people chattering happily (or not quite so much) about taxes and money investments.

And I was home translating.

I have a half-done script of Gundam 00 ep.9 looking straight at me, begging to be completed.I'm checking the revised script for Terra 6 (this is the...4th time, I guess?) trying to eliminate any possible disharmony and/or syntax-grammar horrors.I spent yesterday totally rewriting the middle section of episode 4 which contains plot-essential informations: unfortunately the fansub version doesn't make any sense and I couldn't even use that as a reference, nor could I, at the time of translation, find more accurate sources. I'm so happy DVDs are equipped with proper subtitles *.*.
I also have script 7 to check and revise.Also need to finish translating Maaya Sakamoto's song for Clamp in Wonderland, and I'm sure there're scans lying around waiting to be done.
So much for a hobby, eh XD.

This week brought me two packages at last:a doujinshi and the illustration book Yuuki-sensei made out of his sketches and drawings for the pilot movie of Terra.It took almost 2 months to arrive from America, but whatever, it looks gorgeous.Even my mother likes it.Of course, the doujinshi she hasn't seen, but I don't think she'd even like to *snort*

I also spent too much money on manga...I wonder why is it, that the series I like are exceedingly expensive. That said, I'm not regretting at all, it was all money well spent. I also preoredered the first volume of Neuro, because my bookshop only brings Planeta books if specifically ordered...I suppose I'll be the only one buying it, unless other shops carry them instead.

Oh, I'm watching Gurrenn-Lagann, as many times I was prompted by my fansub comrades to give it a try.It's a nice ,if way too loud, series for the moment.In case you are interested on discussing it... :DDD

...Yesterday I got my Yesasia order, that is Terra e OST 2 and...Chemistry's ED single CD. I don't like Chemistry, their style is totally different from what I usually like listening to, I find their voices whiny and irritating,and they sung the hideous 4th OP to Gundam Seed Destiny, probably the scariest song ever featured in a major anime.

But it had Keith's tarot card inside .It was calling out to me XD. I can live without Physis' or Shiroe's tarot (even though I'll end up getting them as well...tarot freak here XD)but I couldn't miss on Mr. Members Elite.Who's now waiting for Sam's and Matsuka's cards as well.

I've also ripped OST 2 and am uploading it so I can share the goodness.It's really a masterful collection of pieces , I think I even prefer it to OST 1,which is saying a lot .
Now I'm waiting for other Terra-related orders to arrive, namely DVD 3 (ugh...custom fees), Nobuteru Yuuki's circle artbook for the pilot movie, and KeithxMatsuka doujinshi--->I wasn't sure on buying it, as it's half manga , half novel.Then I looked at the drawings, spotted R-18 warning on the cover and my fingers immediately acted on their own.Come my precious *_* .

I was also thinking on getting the Kaze to Ki no uta Bunko version,because reading manga on a PC,especially when in Japanese is not good for my (already declining >_<) eyesight.I want an anime for Kaze. I want stupid Italian publishers to come out and translate it already, even if that'll mean sealed copies, adult warning and scary 10-euro-range prices.It'd be worth it *___*.

Speaking of the Italian manga market (I'm sorry to anyone not interested...), looks like
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro has been licensed by Planeta/DeAgostini ^______^.It's slated for release in December. On one hand I'm a little nervous, since it's a publishing house specialised on comics and graphic novels ,and I don't know if their newborn manga section will endure long enough to sustain long series like Neuro.Not to mention, they're a Spain-based firm, and I'm hoping for a sparkly tranlation from Japanese, without double crossings from other languages. On the other hand, they've also got Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Bobobobo...yes, that one XD, and, well. It's Neuro.I want *_______* .I think angel_katsumi will also be happy to know, if she doesn't already ^^.

Fansub-wise, we also realeased Gundam 00 episode 2, which I'm shamelessly spamming to my yaoi-addicted online friends.
University is going fine at the moment, nothing worth mentioning, except most of my Chinese classmates are actually from my same course, and one of them is really into the whole Gothic Lolita fashion world.She always comes to class in fancy frilly dresses.I wonder how unpractical they really are, for she seems comfortable wearing them.Oh well ^^.

And so the first week of Autumn has gone by fast.
I still have 3 exams to take before writing degree thesis and finishing with it, but since I like making my life difficult, unpleasant, hard,often miserable, just in order to feel extremely proud of myself when gone through all of these ordeals,what did I do?
I chose to earn optional credits studying Chinese.In another faculty, among totally linguistically unskilled people.
The language itself is pretty meh for the moment...I only really chose it to improve my (non-existant) kanji writing abilities, and I don't really care that much for the country's culture, history and millennial traditions, even if I find them extremely fascinating.No, it's not a contraddiction.
I like the teacher, he's very passionate,but he's also not really aware of our difficulties in metabolising each of his intense lessons , laden with several new grammar points and characters, more or less juxtaposed,which he expects us to learn fast XD.
Oh well. Japanese was much more shocking first time around, compared to this :).I'll try and do my best even if won't keep up with the language when done with this .

New anime season also started.There's not that many interesting series starting in October, but, apart from obligatory Gundam 00, Neuro and Rental Magica - ~~ah witchcraft,bishonen and hosts for rent~~, I'll also try Hero Tales, if only to see (or hear..) dear boy Sakurai in his newest acting effort **.I'm hoping it's worth the wait^^.

The Neuro anime reminded me of Gintama somewhat, totally disrupting the originl work's chronology and starting from the weakest case possible :DD. NeuroxYako interactionis brilliant *_*,and that's the major point of interest for me ^_^-Doggie Yako and Neuro's random blank stares were absolutely priceless.They're also really cute, if such an adjective, of all, can be used together with the nest of insanity known as Nougami Neuro XD.
Sasazuka is gorgeous. I want more **.
And tomorrow Gundam 00 will start *___________*.YAY.

And so, it ended.

It did feel a little rushed, I wished some bits had been explained better, but I suppose the DVD additional scenes will make up for that.

Because of the short amount of time, the director needed to focus on the ritual passge of power between Jomy and Tony, which was a very emotional moment, probably more emotional than Jomy's death itself.
As I have always been more of a Terran-side supporter than a Mu fan, it was a little tough for me to see the most of attention centred on the Mu people, but since they have always been at the core of the staff's attention, and, arguably, of Takemiya sensei's as well, it's just my personal bias -wanted Keith to be not *so* desperately alone in his death...at least he said he could now meet Matsuka without feeling guilty ^_^-ah rabu-rabu-

Murdoch was wonderful ç_____ç. The Terrans were rightfully shocked after learning of the SD System's true intentions, and Murdoch's sacrifice wasn't in vain^^.
I was curious to see who would have inherited Keith's powers, but that was left to our imagination, even though I think Serge is the one destined for that.
The old Mu choosing to die to give a future to the Terran children was one of my favourite scenes.It bristled with hope, and hope was also Jomy's last word, and the concept the whole story was founded on ^_^. Now I'm hoping for the added scenes in the DVD to highlight Keith's and Jomy's death scene better, even though it's already really powerful, imho, and to show a little of wha happens to the Terrans after GMother's defeat ^^.

That said, thank you Osamu Yamasaki-san, thank you to the staff, and to all of the cast who infused their passion in this anime. Keith, Matsuka, Sam, Shiroe, Blue, Physis, Jomy and Tony...being able to meet you once again in anime form was a wonderful gift.

And now, give me us a good Kaze to Ki anime adaptation *____*.

....Ki ni naru...SUGOKU ki ni natte kita °_°.

This is the first episode of the final arc and it develops as a build-up one, showcasing the political meeting between the Mu and the SD System hyerarchy.
Many things happen , and we are shown new sides of each character, or better said, their feelings lingering deep down come to the surface.
Tony cries crushed by the guilt of having killed a Mu, while Keith ponders on the possibility of Mu and Humans integration, and goes to meet Grand Mother to ask her a couple of questions. Mother hands him the total control over the situation, and, urged on by Keith's question, tells him the truth about the Mu...A truth the audience can only imagine, and it is a most shocking truth, if you were to judge based on Keith's reaction. (He almost collapses...if you read the manga you'll know what the truth is, and why he reacts this way..)
Meanwhile the Shangri-La is targeted, on its way to Terra, by 6 Megiddo weapons (!!) which rely on Keith's orders to be fired....but in the end are stopped. Instead of eliminating the enemy, he decides on having a proper meeting with the Mu and the SD delegates, which takes place on the Yggdrasil, the headquartes of Reborn, the organization from which SD stems, on Terra.

So the Mu reach Terra, and what an emotional moment it was, for the planet appearing in front of them is certainly not the blue planet dreamt by Blue and etched into Physis' memory.It is a polluted, dying , poisonous and almost uninhabitated place. The tears shed by the Mu were not tears of joy, but cries of desperaton and delusion brought by the sudden collapse of their hopes and wishes. It was a magnificent, if truly saddening moment.

Back on Terra, Keith reminisces Matsuka (I guess nothing will make me change my mind on the fact that he deeply cared about him :P) and reaffirmates his thoughts on why the Mu and the Humans couldn't possibly live together. It feels sad, but I do somehow share his pessimistic view on the humans. ~~I'd actually be much harsher than him, actually...not only are we stupid, as a whole lot, we are also violent and scared of anything we don't perceive as"normal"...unfortunately ç.ç~~

Before the reunion takes place, Physis confronts Keith about Blue's death, asking him what his last words were, and earning a very direct answer "The gun is on the table". She trembles when she gets hold of it, and Keith asks her why do the Mu leaders always fight personally on the fire lines, instead of retreating as the Terran leaders do (Cough... He is either omitting himself from the bunch, or he has a selective memory...he did go meet Jomy and Blue personally :P)
Physis is not able to shoots him, and sadly says she can't feel any haterd towards Keith, even though he killed Blue. At this point Keith reveals (to the audience XD) that the reason for this, is that he was "made" from her genetic data.

Anyway...during the reunion Jomy enters Keith's mind, causing him to react abruptly and ask Jomy to join him in a direct meeting with Grandmother. The Mu are very much against this change of plans, but Jomy is firmly decided on resolving the matter once for all, and follows Keith down to Mother's place. On the way, he also says he's sorry for Tony's rash action, meaning his assassination attempt, but Keith thinks about Matsuka's death instead, and says Matsuka was just a chess piece in te game.-At which I felt , for the Nth time, a raw need to shake him furiously and yell at him not to disclose his feelings like this :P.-
Jomy then asks why his heart is soaked in tears and Keith informs him of Sam's death, a shocking news for Mu's leader.
And there they are, right in front of the door to Mother where Jomy questions Keith's acts as Mother's "dearest" one...and getting a quizzical answer from Keith "I was, until yesterday". What will happen now?

I am trying not to have any expectations about the last episode. I know the DVD version will be longer, and probably more accurate and will (hopefully) explain things better, so I'm approaching Episode 24 with a heavy heart, and not just because it will be the last, but because it won't probably be on par with the some of the series' best episodes .

That said, staff, cast and director-san...you're very very welcome to prove me woefully wrong.

Then again, I can fangirl about Tony's shower scene, or Keith's buttocks in the preview for next episode...cough ...I knew you had a great backside Anyan XD

...Bokurano is lovely XD. I don't care if it totally strayed from the manga at this point, I do really enjoy it ^_^. I guess I just like anime and manga version of a same story to differ somehow, be it in plot-development, character portray, general different taste given to the anime by a director. Of course, total mangling of the original concept is not even taken into account, ha's an entirely different issue .

Kirie-kun, you were wonderful,Ushiro-kun, you're a sublime evil person *_*. Ijou. I can't wait for the subs to appear .

I've also seen new promo pages with characters pictures for Gundam 00 and Tieria keeps scaring me: if that's a man, it's not funny, really (he/it does even look a little like me, it's...disturbing °°).If she's a woman pretending to be a man, I hope Kamiya-kun gives his best playing...her? After all he doesn't have a particularly ~~sexy~~ deep voice. Well, well ^^.Off to listen to terra Fandisc 2 and get rid of depression.

In the remote case you were wondering if I had indeed seen Terra e 22, the answer is yes. I just needed time to digest it, since I spent most of the watching time bawling my eyes out.

And I thought episode 9 was one of the saddest epilogues I'd ever seen. I was expecting much from this episode, as it really moved me in the manga, and I was worried something might go horribly wrong with off characterisation and such, or missing key sentences and things like that . Nope, it turned out magnificently, imho. I thought it was better rendered than the manga actually (Takemiya-sensei forgive me, for your ideas always were the true inspiration behind this masterpiece **).

Maybe it was the voices, the music, the animation ,I don't know, really, I also loved some changes they made to the story. I was resigned never to hear the earring explanation, and instead we get Matsuka explaining it ^^. Maybe it's my Terran-side supporter that speaks, but I was happy to hear that come from the one person that really understands Keith .
The episode is, of course, the one about Matsuka's death and revolves all around him, Keith and Tony. I really like the way Tony was made to be in the anime , it makes me feel simpathetic towards his feelings.At least, even he has shown feelings of regret for his harsh actions.

There were many beautiful lines spoken in the episode and many are interactions between Matsuka and Keith. The moment when Matsuka finds out about Sam's death, Keith's reaction and Matsuka's thoughts (Kare ni tsuite yokatta ^_^) were really poignant and moved me a lot .He has the courage now to stand up to Keith and directly
ask him why he's just playing a role , hiding his humanity and kindness, and he also gets slapped for that ^^'. Keith was also much more human than usual, and looked extremely tired and sad.He kept his usual contempt, treating Matsuka like rubbish as per tradition, at least until he let some of his emotions about Sam's death flow through Matsuka and most especially when he comes back from a seemingly eternal slumber, seeing Matsuka's face and calling his name first conversively, then each time louder. That really hit me ç_ç. Did I say Matsuka was wonderful?ç_ç
Ahem. Tony's attack was really well done, and you could feel Tony's anger and need of revenge, that ultimately, ironically, only made his regret deeper, resulting in the death of a fellow Mu .
The last minutes were gorgeous and need to be seen XD, Matsuka's sacrifice and his last act of love/affection/protection for Keith was portrayed magnificently. His hand still touching Keith's hand to be next to him, his words of parting (Kanashinde...kureta ^^), Keith closing his eyes, Matsuka's smiling face , and the look of happiness on Serge's face as Keith came back^^. Serge was also great ^_^.

I feel like I want to thank each person that took part in the anime, from the staff to the cast, but before that, I want to see the end, and I could be severely disappointed by it...so there ^_^. Now I have huge expectations and I don't want to succumb to them.Aargh. I don't even know if I want the end to be the same as the manga, similar, or completely different, anymore ^^'.Just don't disappoint me , Terra e people XD.

Artella ç_________ç. I knew it was bound to happen, Mu and humans are waging a most cruel war against each other, but she and Tony were such a cute couple of 5-year-olds turned adults all too soon. It wasn't probably meant for them to be together in times like these.Poor Tony, he was devastated: I felt pity towards him, and his so very human-like feelings:Being still a child at heart, all that he wants now is bloody revenge.History keeps repeating itself, and war always brings out the worst of both sides. Cobb and Tadzio also die in rather...crude ways, but I really was moved by Artella's death. The poor child.

I'm also starting to wonder who the director of the anime really is, for this is reaching alarming levels of cruelty. Tomino, come out already and declare this is a work of yours.Things like human shields and mental cruelty of this level can only come from your warped mind. Admit this Keith is a child of yours, and much loved at that XD.
In episode 20 he had a Gihren Zabi-like speech , I only got the gist of, and cheered nevertheless, screaming Sieg Zeon in MS Gundam fashion, but his wickedness it totally Kycilia's level, Gihren can only dream of being this ruthless. Still, I got the distinct sense he's totally tired of being in the midst of it all, and is just waiting for the right moment to destroy the SD System and himself.Maybe it's just my imagination, though. He does look much older and...sad, perhaps?

Jomy has really changed since the beginning, as well. If Keith is ruthless, Jomy is no less, but at least his heart is totally into what he's doing ^_^. I hold the both of them so dear, because, in the end, they're really wishing and battling for the same thing: I suppose the biggest diffrence lies there, in their hearts, for while you can guess that Jomy is considering evil deeds as a price to pay to war and to get what they feel is right, the same can't be said for Keith, who's been anyway unreadable from the very start,and still feels in some way...hurt by all this.As he put it in episode 20, he was born (or well...made XD) to be the perfect leader for humanity,and this he is accomplishing in a most peerless way, but at the cost of destroiyng himself as a person.He doesn't semm to think very highly of himself and/or the System anyway, so that's why I'm expecting something to happen along the lines of suicidal plans.That's also why I like his character so much in all of the 3 renditions:he's always so different.

Much, much love to Oyae-san in this episode XD: so she's 82?LOL.Would have never guessed that ^^.

So, with this episode the final arc has started and I will need a stack of tissues for next week's episode.I know I'll be devastated and I'm putting all my hopes in ~~Tomino~~ director-sama's hands: make it a GRAND, EPIC, splendid episode. My little Matsuka ç_ç. That and the last 2 ones, of course ^^.

In the end they came sooner than expected, and now I'm holding the precious Terra e...Limited Edition DVD1 in my hands, as well as the BL extra fan-disc with wonderful SaigaXSugitan rambling. Much, much love to the both of them, for the manga reading session and the priceless Wakamoto impersonation by Sugita.
Shangri-La Shiritsu Gakuen totally destroyed any semblance of seriousness the characters have in the actual story.Can't wait for Keith to be introduced and completely overhaulted **. The first 3 episodes are probably the weakest of all of them so far...Which isn't to say they're bad.Actually they're a pretty good introduction to the story setting and core problems.

Oh! And if you were wondering (of course you were **), DVDs are also equipped with Japanese subtitles, something I'd basically never seen XD,and discovered by mistakingly playing with the remote.

Of course the customs were really happy to deliver me the goods with an extra 13 euros' worth of taxes, fees and stuff the State generally wants to rob us of with an excuse. Why isn't Japan a part of Europe I wonder XD.

Allora, i sub sono pronti fino alla puntata 14, 15 entro questa settimana, ma quel che piu' conta è che, essendo una versione da DVD-rip pensavamo di encodarlo come HD 264 anzichè come semplice XviD.Tuttavia, si pone il problema della lettura dei file da parte di PC particolarmente vetusti oppure dei lettori DVD/DivX stand-alone, che non supportano questo formato. A questo proposito, preferireste quindi un formato agile , leggero e leggibile, ma di minore qualita', o il formatone definitivo e strafigo, ma piu' pesante e difficile da visualizzare con macchine non aggiornate?

Ah, questo dilemma si presentera' anche per il Farinone presumo, quindi esprimete liberamente il Vostro eccelso parere *_* e trasmettero' le opinioni ai Grandi Capi XD.

The cast was announced at the Hobby Chara in Tokyo. It was announced as a splendid cast with many well known names, but the truth is , among the list the only names I easily recognised were those of the 4 pilots. ^^'
I am a tad disappointed there's no Sakurai, no Fukuyama ~~almost no interesting people XD~~ and no Minagawa ç_ç, but anyway.Much happiness for MikiShin as Lockon.I'm sure he'll be my fave chara. And Tieria is voiced by a man...so he's a man after all °______°'''. And Mamo is Setsuna !^^

I had been waiting for it for what, er...2 weeks,actually, but I couldn't wait for the reunion between the Aoyagi brothers XDD.

Ritsuka running straight into Seimei's arms was lovely. Ricchan is still a pure, passionate child in the end, and meeting his brother, whom he figured as long dead, painted a perfect picture of bliss on his face. He still feels betrayed and played with, but in the end sibling love wins XDD.

On the other hand, Seimei keeps being creepy, scary and perfectly polite, once again playing with Soubi's emotions in regards to him and Ritsuka, but never really attacking or doing anything else other than speaking and talking to his brother.
I feel really sorry for Soubi: he's being cast away once again , and from a person he really feels for.
He's also clearly shocked about Ritsu's order to capture Seimei alive....Because bad children need appropriate punishment *grins*.
Oh yes, Ritsu is ♥ ♥ .Glad to see he's back and still his caustic, detached, humorous self. Kissing Nagisa to shut her up was totally him ~~he was totally waiting for the right chance XDD~~.
I am rooting for a heterosexual couple. The sky is falling *.*.

Kouga, write more, you evil ~~bitch~~ witch. I need longer chapters ç_____ç...What is going to happen to Soubi, I wonder. He's the most fragile character now, more than ever, and he has to confront his dreaded past and his happier present
reuniting. Here's hoping the next chapter will be in next month's issue, at least ^^'.

So, in this episode Jomy and Keith come to terms with their past, and end their youth once for all. It's a painful process for both of them, and they're both still pretty much lost:they're really starting to mirror each other as main characters, each troubled with similar worries and anxieties.Ironically the Mu leader is so much more easy to comprehend and shows many human traits...all those that the human, the Terran leader lacks, or seems to lack.
Also the plot is diverging from the manga quite a bit , but I don't mind at all personally. I'm sure the director and scriptwriter know what to do ^^.
We get to know what the link is between Physis and Keith (this is handled differently than in the manga: in the anime version they're basically brother and sister, each genetically manipulated to represent a perfect specimen of male and female.)
Physis starts being mistreated by Tony, who's very cold and distant to everyone but his Grandpa, whom he absolutely worships.He also has to meet Swena, "another human" to him, and worth of no consideration.When Jomy tells him she was his childhood friend he seems shocked, but quickly regains his disgusted stance towards her XDD. ( ~~Tony, you and Keith should meet once again, you have the same mental frame and attitude XDD~~). Tony looks very beautiful, may I add :D.

Meanwhile Keith keeps being an unreadable enigma to most of us mere mortals. He goes back to the station in order to check on the truth, and when he finds it, he literally soothes with a scary cold rage. It's obvious how he'd be shocked and disgusted to learn that what Shiroe had been telling him, was in fact true, but still, I felt a twinge of pity for Eliza. After all she's also a puppet and truly cared about him. She did however trick him all the way, or at least Keith thinks so, and then the station is dropped on its axis; but before that , he brings Shiroe's Peter Pan book back to where it belonged: Shiroe's own room. There he says goodbye to him once for all, and destroys the station. (I admit I was moved XDD)
After showing a little of his human side though, we learn he's now the pawn of a greater force. Grand Mother, in front of whom (which?XD) he goes more or less Geass'd and embarks on his mission to destroy the Mu. Now it's really up to Matsuka to keep Keith's humanity alive, and it seems next episode will focus on this.

(Matsuka kawaaaaaiii *>o<*.... I already know I'll be devastated when his time will come, and I hope that moment won't disappoint *_*)

Never thought to be generous, really. But maybe I am, indeed. I just don't like being perceived as such, mwahahahha.

Cdjapan has sent the first Terra e... LE DVD.I can't wait to get it, while at the same time I can't help but worry about custom fees.Eeeekk. Still, the first 4 DVDs are mine ...now here's waiting to preorder the missing ones **.

I have been enjoying reading people's predictions on what the cast of Gundam 00 will be on 2chan's boards. We'll know for sure on the 19th, but in the meantime most 2channers think Miyano Mamoru (i.e. Tamaki, Light, Rikuson XD)will play Setsuna. As for the others, the most appointed seems to be Miki Shinichiro for Lockon. I'd love that to be the case **-MikiShin ^o^-
Also of note, most posters don't want people from either Geass or Seed in the cast, at least not on prominent roles . Otaku against fujoshi, how lovely ironic is it?^^

It seems like I only write here about anime and mostly trivial things. Unfortunately I don't particularly tend to write down anything that happens in my life daily, unless it's something I deem important and/or interesting or unusual. I'm just waiting for September to arrive and for the heat to sloooowly subside.But it'll take a while, so in the meantime you get my fanviews :D-oh aren't you elated to know that-

No really...after all, if something really bothers me, I do write down about it, in order to settle my thoughts and plan a logical counterattack against it, so, don't worry, I'm just being my normal lazy self.

And now,

Episode 18 possibly marks the beginning of the last arc of the series, the one that'll depict the War between Mu and Humans, as well as the contraddictions in all of the conflicting parties, and in each of their respective leaders. I'm really, really looking forward to the next episodes. I know I always say so...but this series is just so well-made and intriguing.Even though I already know the outcome of everything. Or so I think °°'.
The episode sees Swena back on the scene, still investigating about the Moby Dick.She's an intrepid journalist and she won't back away from any danger ,if that'll help her gain valuable information on the Mu mothership.
She goes to visit Sam in the hospital, and there she also finds Keith, who's in the meantime been promoted and is som sort of idol for the Terran people. Sam doesn't seem to remember Swena that well, but he's extremely attached to Keith, whom he calls Aka ojichan (Red Guy XD).Keith also seems to reciprocate the affection, since he becomes much gentler and relaxed when he's with him: so much that he even lets Sam sleep on his lap :D.
Swena eventually tries to prod him about his knowledge on Mu and such, but Papa Keith turns back to Android Keith and warns her about the minefield she's entering with her research, and the danger that lies there, danger so big even he wouldn't be able to prevent things happening to her now-ex family. Swena then gives him the book Shiroe held so preciosuly dear,and goes back to her research.
On the Mu-side we see interesting rivalries starting to brew. The old generation Mu, the ones born under the SD System, think of the Nazca youngsters as monsters (I think, pretty much in the same vein Keith is seen by his comrades in the Terran Army), and the Nazcan Mu don't want to have any ties to the older Mu, as they feel they're a completely new race, and much, much stronger than them ~~which is actually true...They're incredibly strong, not to mention, gorgeous XD~~ .
Many of them actually want to dispose of the older generation (Jomy included, because they find him an inept-or henachoco, if you prefer Japanese-) and use the Shangri-La to its full potential, but Tony , out of his respect and utmost affection for Jomy stops them. Artella (who is GORGEOUS and splendid) swears she'll abide Tony's orders (yay ^^...I really like them as a couple) and danger is swayed, for he time being. Meanwhile Physis spends most of her time alone now that Blue is not there anymore,only comforted by Rain, and she seems to have lost the capacity of foretelling.
Jomy sets the Shangri-La on the route to Altemesha (Altemisia?) the planet where the Educational City Ataraxia is. They even show the old school Swena, Jomy and Sam used to attend to some 20 years before, which is now Swena's child (Laetitia)'s school. We also see Jomy's ex adoptive parents ^^.
Anyway, Jomy is very steep in saying he wants to reach Altemesha even at the cost of the lives of those who oppose him (Mainly Terran soldiers...) I was surprised to see Jomy's dark side figure so prominently here, but that's a good thing. Each character has their shadows, and they're starting to rouse conflict.

Back into Keith's quarters, we see ~~his HUGE bed~~ him checking the book and finding a microchip Shiroe had carefully inserted. It looks to be the same chip Shiroe was trying to record back in episode 8 and 9, about Floor 001 and its secrets. Unfortunately, since Shiroe got arrested, the recording stops abruptly, and Keith now wants to ask Mother Eliza about everything.

Swena is going back to Altemesha when she's attacked by Tony.Fortunately, Jomy senses her presence and orders Tony to stop. On Altemesha Swena and Jomy meet again, and Swena wonders how ironic it is for Jomy of all people to be aboard of the Moby Dick the leader of the Mu.

The last scene sees Keith and ~~wife~~ Matsuka head to Station E-1077 in search of Mother Eliza and presumably, of the truth. So I guess after Eliza, Keith'll question Grand Mother about his birth and about the Mu factor. It does make sense, since Eliza is the one who cared for his raising all the time he spent in the lab. It's interesting that he's bringing Matsuka with him. Does he also want his subordinate to know the truth, or is he only using him as a convenience driver, without letting him know about his past? ~~Or it could be that it just was a fanservice scene and Keith'll be alone in the Floor to meet Eliza.~~.
Either way, in the next episode both Jomy and Keith will have to meet with their past and it looks like a really exciting episode. I can't wait ^^.

Now it's back to subbing Episode 11 XDD.

While everyone's busy waiting for Geass...

...I had some room freed in my hard-disk, as I will follow Mononoke, Zetsubou Sensei and Baccano! together with the ongoing spring series. I need more drive space ç___ç.
I know Geass will air in probably a hour or so, and many images are already floating around, but as with every Saturday, the thing I'm looking most forward to is a new Terra e...episode. This one was a hard one to watch... (especially if you are a Mu supporter...)

We already knew Blue was going to die in this episode, and so he does. His death was long overdue,though XD.I was really happy to see Jomy finally wear the headphones and officially become leader of the Mu. He's gone through many, many tragedies and hardships, and he's really matured into a wonderful guide for his people. He has to witness the deaths of many companions, and especially of Kim, the one guy he punched maaany yers before, the very first time he set foot on the Shangri-La, back when he still was Annoying Brat Jomy. The scene was very angsty, and touched me more than Blue's death, probably because nobody really expected Kim to die, of all people (I feared for poor Leo, possibly the one Mu, together with Jomy and Braun, that I like).
The new-generation children were also shown as young boys and girls, not babies anymore, but not yet teens or adults. I liked how the director handled the transformation, as it ws pretty difficult to tie up to the manga plotline at this point.
So Tony, Mu from Hell , is now a cute, graceful boy with lovely pink hair. I could almost like him, if I already didn't know what his true character is like.
This was really an episode about showing some characters'true colours...and adding more and more shadow to those of some others.
~~Orenji~~ Murdoch is suddenly horrified of the disaster Megiddo causes, calling himself and ~~Yzak~~ Michelle "soldiers who obey orders" and not
genocidal monsters like Keith is, among everyone. I'm not entirely sure Murdoch is that good of a guy though...He's probably just plotting to have him taken off the army because of excessive fanaticism and cruelty, Pretty much like it happens in the manga really.
Truth be told, Keith the Evil Android (aka Mother-Machine without a Soul)is certainly doing his best to get such accusations. He's really difficult to read and understand as a character , because the only one who truly knows him, and this just because he can read that twisted mechanical mind of his, is Matsuka. If you have to believe what lovely Matsuka-tan says, Keith doesn't believe in what he proclaims ( Grand-Mother this, SD System that, all of it) , but if you were to judge based on his actions and general mood, heck, either he's a wonderful actor, or Matsuka is totally wrong. I already know which one it is, but anyway.... His genocidal-freak handle on the situation keeps scaring me, and what really hurts it's seeing what a kind and considerate person he can (still) be, when the System is not totally owning him.
Talking of Matsuka, he saves his ~~beloved~~ Shôsa one more time, and climbs higher and higher up on my favourites list XD. Keith's newfound boytoys are also pretty nice people, if a little bit on the fanatical side.

I'm really looking forward to the next episode, with Fearless Leader!Jomy meeting Swena *_* (it was about time ^^).

I want Terra e...'s OST. Now ç_ç.

Summer has officially started...

...and I completed my exams session at last!Everything went really well, beyond my expectations, which is good because the final exams will be hell and they will sink my grade by hundreds.
Still, I managed to study comfortably because my parents decided on getting air-con instead of some fancy new tech thingy.It's lovely.I will get many sore throats from it, but at the moment I don't really care, my skin is really grateful now **.

I also got a few parcels ,mainly some new yaoi books to devour and DVDs. I also ordered new DVDs. I need a job XD.

In other merrier news, Majin tantei Nougami Neuro will be animated!!YAYYY!!*_* And by Madhouse nonetheless. And with the same cast from the CD dramas. I am so happy. In case you were wondering what *exactly* this Neuro thing is, don't worry.It's one of the typical deranged, screwy, creepy, weird,perverted, genial manga I like, ~~which no one knows other than a few cultists XDD~~. usual fare for me I suppose-sigh-

Speaking of creepy characters, Terra e...15 featured impossibly handsome evil barbarian! Keith, traitor!Physis , Living!Blue and Dead!Karina. Not to mention the ever wonderful ~~Nicol~~ Matsuka *_*.
They stayed quite faithful to the manga plot and visuals, apart from the huge difference in Blue's role. He was wonderful this episode.I must admit I don't really understand what really is so lovely and wonderful in him (never really cared about him, sorry ^^') but he was so much of a leading force for the Mu in the chaos surrounding Karina's death, taking the responsibility to try and stop Keith (and save Tony and Physis at the same time) on his now weakened body.
His confrontation with Keith was quite a strong moment: he would have managed to destroy our Super Elite'smind had it not been for Physis who instinctively protected
him. It's a pity Keith gave Tony back though XD ~~You should have killed him with one blow, Keith~~ .
Karina's death wasn't ashock because I knew already it was bound to happen, but it still moved me. I do find it homurous though that everyone blames her death on keith, when it's obviously Jomy's fault, to have them on the Shangri-La while Keith was held captive. I do pity her for everything that befell her...but Tony needs to die :P.
Keith was especially tricky and a downright bastard in this episode, but you have to admire his nerves (and his skills *_*) and his strategy. Having Matsuka by his side is a definite plus.
Their reunion was pure sadist love as you'd expect from them. I was squealing with joy hearing Matsuka call over to him and finally have Keith going all surprised and thinking "Matsuka Kisama ka?!". That kisama made my day...it's the perfect summary of their SM relationship XD. Seeing Matsuka all happy after being insulted by his master after so long caressed my cynical heart. I want to see whips and beatings now **-doujinshi come flooding my way!**-

I should also stop watching episodes on Nico...people's comments are killers XDD.
